Mission / function
With the collaboration of the chef and cooks, your main role is to perform the duties of a kitchen assistant.
Task description
In the following order:
- Organising fridges and cupboards, checking the temperature of the fridges and the state of the food.
- Washing, peeling and cutting pulses, vegetables, fish, meat, etc.
- Actively collaborate with the cook during service.
- Cleaning and tidying up kitchen workstations
- At all times, properly dispose of tools, utensils and working material.
Requirements
- Basic studies
- 6 months as an assistant in a kitchen environment
Important observations
- A course in occupational risk prevention would be an asset
- Food handling course would be an asset
- Specific cooking course would be an asset
- Own car
