Enjoy panoramic views of the Alt Empordà and La Garrotxa in a hot air balloon.

You will enjoy an unforgettable flight over the volcanoes. The sensations and emotions that you will discover travelling in a hot air balloon are indescribable.

The activity starts first thing in the morning (between 7:00 and 8:00, depending on the time of year) when the wind is calmer and the atmosphere cooler and more stable. We meet at the Vol de Coloms facilities. We invite you to have a coffee for the parents and a juice for the children and to eat some pastries while you watch the preparation and assembly of the balloon.

Young and old alike will be amazed to see how the majestic candle swells up, a colourful spectacle! Seeing the burner lit, the image of the flames is amazing! All our baskets have doors, so they are accessible to all kinds of public. The balloon flight with children lasts between 1h and 1h30 minutes.

The movement of the balloon is so smooth that it is imperceptible and the sensation is of floating in the air, calm, serenity, tranquillity and absolute safety. While we contemplate the landscape from a bird's eye view, with the volcanoes under your feet, we toast with cava for the adults and juice for the children, to celebrate the baptism of the flight and taste the "chicharrones" cake. When we landed we also lived through the deflation of the glider, watching it gradually run out of air.

When the balloon is loaded, the vehicle that has been following us is waiting for us to go and have a good country breakfast. We serve bread with tomato and sausage, Santa Pau beans with sausage, desserts from the Cooperativa de la Fageda, wine, water, coffee and ratafia. At the end of the experience, we give each member of the family a flight certificate signed by the pilot. A unique souvenir!
