The 5th Hole of Torremirona Golf Club

The golf courses on the Costa Brava are now fully operational. Of course TorreMirona Golf Club is one of them and has all the hygiene and safety measures in place, so it's great to see the players on the course again!

One of the important points of the new measures taken by the club is the ball retriever on the green. A design and production of Jordi Más, member of TorreMirona Golf Club, donated altruistically. The flag has a support so that our golfers can raise it with the club and recover their ball, avoiding contact with their hands. A great initiative!

THE CLUB

For those who do not know our course yet, TorreMirona Golf, with 18 holes, is a PAR 72 formed by several lakes and bunkers along the course, with wide greens with undulations and complicated slopes that allow TorreMirona to host events of the highest national and international level.

The course, designed to appeal equally to the more technical golfer and those looking for a more relaxed game and enjoyment of the surroundings, is a perfect base for golf breaks that can be combined with an outing to one of the other 8 golf courses in the area.

HOLE 5

Among the 18 holes there is one that stands out above the rest, and that is none other than hole number 5. This hole is a real marvel, it is the jewel of our golf course. It is a PAR 3 of 170 metres and the main feature of the green is the shape of an island.

The tee shot has to be perfect; the green is surrounded by water and this does not allow us to make any mistakes. Even the breeze that we may find one day over the elevated tee of this hole can condition our choice of club. It can vary by three or four irons from one day to the next.

THE BEST COURSE IN CATALONIA

Recently, the 5th hole of TorreMirona Golf Club was chosen as the best hole number 5 by all golfers in Catalonia in a fun contest on social media, organised by golf professional Toni Enciso, where he virtually created an 18-hole golf course with the best holes of all the golf courses in Catalonia.
